verily, the vesper calls

In here I would like to dissect some of the commonest phrases, idioms an sayings in my way There would be a semblance of Sheldon,Weaving and some of the grandiloquent in history but believe me this will be entertaining.

1) 'A stitch in time saves 9' :

A complex embroidery loop in the temporal position of events relative to the annals of the universe can help you preserve the first composite lucky number ...

2) To upset the apple cart:

Afflicting an anxious uneasiness or grief to an inanimate wooden mobile structure serving the purpose of transportation laden with an abundant malic acid compound that is largely colored towards the end of the visible spectrum..

3) Where there is a will there is a way:

If you possess the testament that manages to ramify the necessary wealth and property to a highly chosen lot, then you are almost with certitude to extricate from the quagmire of delusions a path that leads to your destiny...

4) A little learning is a dangerous thing:

A diminutive activation of the grey cells of the cerebrum along with the excitation of the fovea centralis of the eye can only be worthy of being braided as something which may foster a dastardly repercussion towards the flora and fauna, disturbing the wave function and causing cataclysm

5) Skeletons in the closet:

The Greek root for dried body, forming the outer bulwark of the homo sapiens is to be observed by the cones in the ocular region, and as per necessary chemo-receptors successively is sent to the brain and encountered in the present world in a hollow, wooden cubicular structure serving the purpose of preserving bodily garments

God Itz killing me :(

What happens when a person realizes a dream....What does he do when he sees opulence and luxury rotting...... What good does it do when he innovates something bad, people appreciate and he pounces on to perpetuate more filth.....How does he tame his horses....What does he do when he gets the rude shock that he has crossed the line....When the kid in him looks up in awe to the monster that he has turned...What occurs when he starts sounding arrogant and demeaning.....What shall he do when he finds adulation to be a intoxication...How badly he craves for the old self...devoid of all these bacchanalia......

He quits....

My most celebrated Lair

After belling the hyped CAT, I am in the process of taming the RAT-frantic sessions, tiring lectures, hackneyed sessions, biting retorts, habitual harangues, carousels and bacchanalia seem to inject a new serum in me.What was a laconic-i-live-in-my-space fellow has turned into a bellicose-eat-live-facebook nerd !!
Of all the things that I seem to miss, movies are my far the 'pie in the sky'.In here, in K-land, I somehow rediscovered my love and indulged madly in the past week.Although I failed to keep track of my cinephilia, still i safely presume it would be a sizeable number.'Escape from Alcatraz','Lucky number slevin','Harsh times','Willard','Of mice and men' were some of the paintings of the tinsel town that I leapt into.
Boy....wouldn't it be nice to live movies ??

The art of applause

The world of presentations and lectures have traditionally been dialogic.Although the vocal chords and guile of being a prestidigitator works well for the presenter still there exists an inseparable part in the form of the class that I call as "clappers"
A panegyric to them :

Solitary Reaper-1 clap,no takers
The damp squib- All hype but ends up in a whimper
Eargasm errr-Of decibels and cacophony
The synthesizer-one who begins the frenzy

The eunuch-the propensity to clap for anything and everything
The insensitive moron-One who doesn't clap whatsoever
Conjugal refulgent-clap 'celebrating' others, well 'screwing' in more than one ways
Long tailed-The never say die(unless those around quell him)
Headbanger-the app loose cult :)

Paxi's Journal : Entry 2

The tinsel town which was forlorn for a week , is agog and brimming with the plaintive whines. My friends who ventured out to seek their loved ones have returned victorious, laden with a rich platter. Some samaritans bothered to notify to the hungry gourmands and rest stuck to the Hammurabi's "eye for an eye".The week before was spent amidst jigs, jugs and cunning stunts. Now I find myself tethered to taxing projects and exercising my quadriceps femoris for the zillion trips to the library and study hide-outs.The decadence has percolated deep and I see some of my best friends bow down and give in to the fuming white stick.I manage to find some solace in yesteryear songs and lay some foundation bricks in my sanskrit escapades.I think the vicissitudes and ladies have got a perfect alluding prey in me...................

cerebrations of a cunning linguist

"Word"ly pleasures has always been my indulgence. As per me, the most percolative way to reach the erudite is by "cunning linguism" instead of being a "master debater". Jargon, for many writers, has always been the last retort for recognition but the guises of the pen make the perfect re-partee. After close to 2 months at K, I feel konsummated and in kadence with the K-way of life.No wonder, If George Eastman were to visit the place he would have even rechristened his name. The practice of swapping the C with the K is parlance here.Amidst all the karousels, there lies ample scope to prove pen prowess-the networking sites prove to be the vista of narcissism and my komrades jump in-I just try to be a Kogent Komment passer.Cutting the long story short,Master debating lies in spills and thrills but cunning linguism is all about wordly licking

Epicurean's dream

Come August, and in Orissa they say-Its Elysian fields.
The murky sky, the Spiteful rivers in spate, The rainy-brainy-cycle-dashers, the seeping lackadaisical verve :), the father returning drenched and the lil' kids reaching for the towel and searching for the marshmallow, the impudent son wandering off cantankerously..........and it goes on Among some of my favorite memories are the Elysian Ilisis (Hilsa) that are pricey yet ubiquitous at those times. The Sunday would begin with Dad and mom sipping tea and the kids (me and my big bro) rushing to the refrigerator for sweets/the kitchen cupboard for nuts and flakes.Dad would being narrating "his days"-The energy, the climate...and would finally come to food.Mom picks up and just brings fish into the limelight. After some animation and decisions on the amount to be brought-Dad sets off to the Fish depot(usually taking my bro alongwith in his erstwhile Bajaj Chetak :( ).The welcoming of dad was just like a victor and Mom in the mean time would get ready and begin the kitchen affairs of the day.We, the lil' ones spent the morning running some onion/garlic errands ,reading papers, and ear-gasm-ing at Rangoli(aired at DD).
Dad, although being a busy doctor would ensure that he calls us and enquires about the cooking progress !!!.At 1:00 PM bliss was served on the platter.............

Missing those days and the table histrionics of My dad , My bro and My mom
